Grinder Beaters Extensive studies have led to our standard beater specification, which is designed to produce an optimum wear-life to cost ratio. Our standard product is a low-cost through-hardened beater from low alloy steel and hardened to give optimum toughness and wear life. We can also produce case-hardened specifications if required. We carry more than 50 types of beaters in stock. Beaters are boxed in balanced sets to give easy dynamic machine balance, maximum life, consistent product quality and smooth running.
