Grinder Bars and Spacers
Our standard specification bars are manufactured from manganese
molybdenum and chrome molybdenum alloy steels, either induction
hardened, or in the "T" condition as required. The
use of induction hardening ensures the maintenance of high strength
and hardness, and the lack of distortion eliminates the need
for straightening/finishing work associated with other heat treatment
processes, thus avoiding cracking and cold-work induced stresses
which can lead to reduced life.
