We manufacture high quality, extended life screens for most
types of granulating machines used in tyre processing, plastic
granulating, as well as for wood waste & green waste processing
machines. As well as making standard screens, we also produce
many custom fit screens for customers with modified or non-standard
machines. We can produce screens in advance of requirement for
use on a call-off order basis to avoid down-time delays caused
by unexpected screen breakage, e.g. due to contaminated product.
Granulator Screens
We manufacture granulator screens for most common machine
types including;
- Alpine
- Christy & Norris

Heavy Duty Screens & Trommel Screen Panels
We also produce heavy-duty screens for various applications
such as trommels, up to 15mm thick.
Common applications include static trommels as used in waste
transfer station applications, and a variety of mobile
trommels. As well as supplying panels for a number of trommel
manufacturers, we can supply punched plate panels for most common
trommel types including Type 615 & Type 830 trommels. These
trommel panels can be supplied either in the flat condition,
or rolled & formed ready to fit.
Through - hardened Screens
Through - hardened Screens Traditionally, granulator screens and other industrial screens have been manufactured from mild steel to provide a cost-effective solution in a variety of screening applications.
Where extended wear-life is required for use in arduous conditions, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel.
We can offer screens laser or plasma profiled in 'stadard' chrome -boron steels in the Brinell 400 range, or 'high' grade in the Brinell 450 hardness range. We can also offer chrome-boron steel screens in the Brinell 500 hardness range for certain applications.
We have also developed a punch-perforated solution for such applications to produce through-hardened screens with 'standard' grade in the Brinell 380-420 range, or to up to Brinell 470 - 500 hardness in the 'high' grade range depending on toughness and durability requirements of the application. These screens are also manufactured in chrome-boron steel grades, but are hardened after the punching & fabrication process.
Where screen specifications allow this method, the perforated solution can often be produced at a significant cost saving over other manufacturing methods.
This capability has the potential to significantly alter the cost/life ratio of screen products, meaning that hardened screens can become cost effective in applications where high costs were previously prohibitive.
We can also offer screens in various non chrome -boron grades such as Domex© and 3CR12/Cromweld©, as well as highly corrosion resistant screens in duplex and super-duplex alloys.
We have the capability and experience to produce fully fabricated screens for a variety of machines used in applications such as granulating, crushing, tyre recycling, cable recycling, wood aste processing waste processing and vibratory screening.
