Granulator Screens, Drier Screens & Shredder Screens
Industrial Screens – Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Through Hardened Granulator Screens, Drier Screens & Shredder Screens
We manufacture high quality, extended life industrial screens for most types of granulating machines used in tyre processing, plastic granulating, as well as for wood waste & green waste processing machines. As well as making standard screens, we also produce many custom fit screens for customers with modified or non-standard machines. We can produce screens in advance of requirement for use on a call-off order basis to avoid down-time delays caused by unexpected screen breakage, e.g. due to contaminated product.

Through Hardened Screens
Traditionally, granulator screens and other industrial screens have been manufactured from mild steel to provide a cost-effective solution in a variety of screening applications.
Turbo Drier screens for types such as Herbold and B + B have been manufactured in stainless steel. Where extended wear-life is required for use in arduous conditions, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel. & wearplate steel grades.
We can offer screens laser profiled in ‘standard’ hardened wearplate steels in the Brinell 400 range, or ‘high’ grade in the Brinell 450 and 500 hardness ranges.
We can also offer through hardened chrome-boron steel screens in the Brinell 500+ hardness range for certain applications. With enhanced chrome carbide & grain structure, this grade offers considerably better wear resistance than other grades of similar hardness and typically gives a much greater service life than standard wearplate grades – including 500 hardness plates.
These chrome boron steel screens are punched & fabricated before hardening and tempering, resulting in our best performing and most cost effective product for high wear rate applications.
This capability has the potential to significantly alter the cost/life ratio of screen products, meaning that hardened screens can become cost effective in applications where high costs were previously prohibitive.
As well as through hardened chrome boron, we can also offer screens in various grades such as Hardox© / Abro© / Raex© / XAR ©, Domex© and 3CR12/Cromweld©, and we can also supply screens in highly corrosion resistant screens in duplex and super-duplex alloys.
Pulveriser Bar Screens
We manufacture high durability standard bar screens for hammer mills such as Christie & Norris machines. Parts for standard screens for the 24 x 12, 24 x 16, 24 x 24, 30 x 30 & 30 x 40 models are held in stock, so that screens from 6 bar to 19 bar variations can be produced to order very quickly for all of these standard models.
Wedge Wire Screens
We manufacture wedge-wire screens for various machine types used in applications such as food processing, casting media reclamation and battery recycling.
Flexible Polyurethane Screens
‘Flip-Flow’ type screens used in various vibro-screening machine types can be supplied in various shore grades & colours according to user’s requirements.
Turbo Drier Screens
Turbo-Driers such as Herbold and B & B types are increasingly used in applications such as plastic recycling. These drier screens have normally been supplied in stainless steel. We are able to offer these screen types either in stainless steel, or in hardened chrome-boron steel which offers considerable advantage in wear life and impact resistance.
We have also engineered segmental solutions that give significant advantages in managing the varying wear rates seen at different stages of the drier, economising on replacement screen costs, and giving extra durability in areas where the highest wear and impact loads are seen.
We can also offer paddles, brackets and other wearparts for a number of machine types.
Heavy Duty Screens & Trommel Screen Panels
We also produce heavy-duty screens for various applications such as trommels, up to 15mm thick.
Common applications include static trommels as used in waste transfer station applications, and a variety of mobile trommels. As well as supplying panels for a number of trommel manufacturers, we can supply punched plate panels for most common trommel types including Type 615 & Type 830 trommels. These trommel panels can be supplied either in the flat condition, or rolled & formed ready to fit.
